1 Samuel 15: Saul Spares King Agag
The Amalekites symbolized all the evil and opposition to God and his people.
They were Israel’s first enemies while they were still in the wilderness (Exod. 17.8-16), and because of this God commanded Saul to exterminate them all.
Those who opposed almighty, his direction, and his children are on the path to destruction, for he will come to their defense and take revenge on their adversaries.
