You have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. Traditions were passed from generation to generation by the elders and masters of Israel. They said that these traditions constituted the “oral law” uttered by Moses but were not in the Torah.

Those considering them more important that the Holy Scriptures.

The Lord Jesus was very clear when He said that they disobeyed the Divine Commandments because of tradition. No human doctrine or religious practice has the importance and credibility of the Word of God (1 Tim. 4.9;2 Tim. 3.16).
