Taking possession of the Promised Land was the greatest dream for the Hebrew people. They waited a total of almost five centuries for it to happen. And now the opportunity to possess it was right in front of them, but hey first needed to cross the Jordan River to overcome the enemies on the other side.

We face similar battles in our lives, and the greatest of all is not conquering a plot of land but finding Salvation.

The Lord Jesus already won it for us on the cross, but it is up tho hose who really want it to live in daily warfare and confront spiritual enemies.

There are various Bible promises for our lives her on earth as well, but just dwelling on your dreams is not enough to fulfill them. You need to use faith, humanity’s main weapon of warfare. God as a warrior has armed each person with this individual sword, but only those who use it take possession of what they want.

Do not destroy him. David new that Saul would have to give account to God for his evil deeds, so he did not harm him or allow any of his soldiers to do so.

When we suffer injustice, persecution or slender, we should never think of revenge or allow ourselves to become bitter.

On the contrary, we must believe that at the right time God will judge our cause and act on our behalf. It is up to him alone to grant us justice.
