The search for a righteous man. The call to repentance had already been made to the simplest people in society but, among them, there was no faithfulness or sensitivity to hear the Divine Voice.

They were rebuked but they did not feel the pain of the discipline.

The same opportunity for repentance was given to the rich and powerful but, although they were well instructed in the Mosaic Law, they lived in disagreement with its teaching.

Their disregard and lack of interest ended in the destruction of the people. A hardened heart is a characteristic of those who live far Most High. They fail to realize that their soul can be destroyed if they do not submit to God.
