Your Anger is turn away. Just as a sinner attains the benevolence of the Lord when they repent, the nation of Israel would attain mercy by trusting in Him. His people would be disciplined but would return from exile restored.

Due to Divine compassion, the nation would later see the manifestation of the messiah at His first coming.

Even being offended because of sin, the lord remains willing to forgive and deliver from anguish those that repent. In the face of this, the human mind is incapable of imaging in the size of the Most High’s kindness. In spite of a lot of errors, contempt and the rebellion of people, the Lord is always ready to forgive, comfort and restore their lives.
