Imitators of God. Only those who have been regenerated and have the Holy Spirit or able to imitate God.

Just as children followed the examples of their parents, those who are children of the Most High imitate Him in their actions, reactions, words, and character.

The righteous are called “beloved children,” enjoying the safety of God as a member of His Devined Family.

Just as the Lord Jesus reflected the perfect image of the father through holiness, righteousness, goodness, and other attributes, those who are born of God reflect his image by following His principles (Matt. 5.48).
