In all good conscience. When Paul was presented to the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin, he was confident and unafraid to be questioned about his preaching of the Lord Jesus.

He had the certainty and confidence of a clean conscience that comes from doing what is right. A good conscience before God confirms that we are acting according to His will as we obey His Word.

These are tough times we are in, when the Lord Jesus’ Name is being shamed by the conduct of men and women who say they serve Him but deny Him with their actions.

Their consciences have been completely seared, without any fear of God or His Word. Their deeds are wicked and evil, and their intentions are purely personal and selfish.
