The righteous is taken away from evil. With the Babylonian invasion, the nation suffered extreme violence and the destruction of the Temple and all the sacred service, which added even more pain to those who were faithful.

The Most High allowed many of His servants to die under the command of perverse leaders (Kings 21.16).

This was an escape from God, so they would not suffer at the hands of foreigners. The prophet’s rebuke was due to the insensitivity of the people when seeing the suffering of the righteous.

Men of precious faith and a righteous conduct were rejected and condemned by the mercenary, indolent, and hypocritical religious leaders (56.9-12).

Because of these blind watchmen, the nation was full of abominations and instead of being confronted and killed, they were respected and honored.

“While no one considers” describes how the men of God were being confronted and killed, they were being treated. If here was no consideration for them on earth, there would be in Heaven. An example of this happened in Stephen’s death. Even before he was stoned, the Lord Jesus rose from His Throne to receive Him (Acts. 7.56).
