All workers became one. The reconstruction began with a detailed report of the people involved. Eliashib, the high priest, restored the sheep gates and the walls near the Temple, dedicated themselves to the reform. Among the list of those who helped were priests, Levites, merchants, and even women, such as the daughter of Shallum (v. 12).

Except for the nobles who did not willingly help (v. 5) everyone else showed their resolve to do the work of the Almighty, without thinking they were any more or less important that the others.

They worked in on faith, with one objective. This is the mindset of the members of the Body of Christ as true servants of God who are His church.
