Nebuchadnezzar’s dream left him extremely worried and fearful, as he understood that these were great events that were to come and that escaped his understanding.

It is not known whether he forgot the dream or if he did not want to reveal it to his magicians, sorcerers, and enchanters so that they would show ability and sincerity in their interpretation.

The fact is that they could not interpret it with their occult sciences and their false idols, which left the king very furious, to the point of condemning them to death along with their respective families. The dream was prophetic, so only the true servants of God could receive form Him wisdom and understanding to decipher it (Amos 3.7;Matt. 13.11).
