I am willing: be cleansed. Lepers lived a life of suffering and humiliation. Because they had a contagious disease, they could no longer live with the family; they had to isolate themselves from everyone. When that sick man apprached the Lord Jesus, he knew He had authority to heal him, but he was sot sure whether or not He wnated to heal him.

When he heard Jesus’ answer and was touched by Him, he was immediately cleansed.

Spiritually speaking, leprosy represents sin; Just as leprosy rots the flesh, sin corrupts the soul and makes it unclean. The Lord Jesus wants to heal not only the body but, above all, the soul that is sick and contaminated by sin. That is why He gave His life on the cross.
