She has done a good work for Me. Some people, especially Judas, opposed Mary’s attitude of faith and considered it a waste.
In Greek, the word “waste” is the same as “perdition,” a term that refers to Judas (John 17.12).
By betraying the Lord Jesus, he lost the opportunity of Salvation, therefore wasted eternal life. Mary invested everything she owned by worshiping the Savior, taking advantage of the opportunity to be saved.
