The garden. the history of humankind started in Eden, God’s Garden ( Gen. 2.8). But there, the first Adam disobeyed, and, with his fall, death entered the earth.

With man’s disobedience, and consequently, the entrance of sin into the world, Satan usurped the authority that before belonged to people. Besides that, he stole the peace, tranquility and , above all, the friendship between the creature and the Creator.

But , as proof that the Most High did not give up on rescuing the sinner, He gave a new opportunity to him. This time, through the last Adam, the Lord Jesus (Rom. 5.17-18).

Just as the serpent, that is, the devil, caused man to sin in a garden, through disobedience, the Savior used another garden, Gethsemane, to crush the serpent’s head with His unconditional obedience to the Almighty God. Thus, the Lord Jesus returned authority and access to Heaven to people.
