Joel 3: God Judges the Nations
Valley of Jehoshaphat means “where the Lord judges” in Hebrew.
The place was given the name after God intervened against the Ammonites and the Moabites and their armies were defeated by King Jehoshaphat (2 Chron. 20.1-30).
It is also called the “valley of decision,” for it is the place where the great final battle of Armageddon will take place (Rev. 16.16).
Joel foretells what will happen to the nations that will join the Antichrist against God’s chosen people (Zech. 14.3).
