But, the people of Judah, who received counsel from the Eternal God Himself, ignored traditions, a political party, religion, idols or a soccer team with such keenness, yet are weak and fearful when it comes to faith and Holy Principles? The faithfulness of a people to their leader caught the Lord’s attention because that was how He wanted Israel to behave to2ward Him (vv. 18-19)
