Isaiah 50: The Servant, Israel’s Hope
When I called, was there none to answer? the Almighty had sent prophet to call His people to repentance and to return to the genuine faith. However, the people did not listen to His Voice.
By choosing to resist God, Israel turned itself into slavery.
The nations was not suffering defeat and oppression because the power of the Most High had diminished. On the contrary, He affirmed that His Hand, a symbol of His strength, had not been shortened nor was it powerless, but was firm both that bless and to discipline.
People are free to make their own decisions and even to say “no” to the call of conversion. But they need to be conscious of the judgment they will suffer because of the choice.
