Isaiah 34: Judgment on the Nations
Come near to hear. Isaiah prophesied about the terrible end of the enemy nations of Israel, including Assyria. But the purpose of this message is also to ensure that the judgment of God would come upon those that reject and despise His Word.
The revelations contained in this chapter are even related to the Book of Revelation because it describes the conflict of the end of times (Rev.16.16; 19.7-19).
On this terrible Day of judgment, all of the nations and those that mock the Lord and His righteous ways will perish. On that occasion, instead of ridiculing, they will tremble before the indignation of our God.
