Isaiah 10: Arrogant Assyria Also Judged
Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees. God is not pleased with rulers, legislators and judges who enact and implement laws that cause pain and distress in people. He loves justice, this is why He created Laws that sought to protect the most vulnerable like widows and orphans (Exod. 22.22). The bad judges of Israel afflicted everyone with their oppression because hey did not respect His Word.
The Almighty God assures us that because of this they would go through His judgment and reap the fruits of their wickedness.
Even today, many take advantage of their authority to favor themselves at the expense of the people. However, they will not go unpunished, they will be judged by the Most High. Those who complain about the injustices of this world can have the Lord Jesus as a Lawyer, and God the Farther as the just Judge as long as they manifest faith in Him. Without attitudes of faith there is no justice!
