O foolish! The Galatians were fascinated by deceitful words that lead to the contamination of their faith and the loss of common sense.

They had converted, but they quickly got dazzled by false doctrines. The arguments of the Jew dazers – that is, of those Jews who had converted to Christianity, but who imposed on gentile Christians the observance of the mosaic law and of Jewish traditions – had penetrated strongly among the Galatians like a poison that falls into the bloodstreams and leads to death.

The abandonment of faith is the greatest folly a person can commit. Many, today, have fallen spiritually because they have ignored the astuteness of Satan and the warning to be watchful, issued by the word of God.
