Deuteronomy 4: Moses Commands Obedience
Hear, fulfill, live and possess. These verbs show the sequence of Israel’s success. That is, if they heard and fulfilled God’s Teachings, the Israelites would live to enter the Promised Land. Like wise, if we follow this direction, we will achieve not only our goals, but also our Salvation.
This shows that the Word of God does not expire, and His Counsel remains current. Whoever wishes to enter the spiritual Promised Land, the Kingdom Land the Kingdom of Heaven Must know that Salvation is irreplaceable, unique, non-transferable and conditional to the will of the Most High.
Thus, there is no use in a vast biblical knowledge good works and religious activism, without submission to God. Happiness and life are established in commitment to the Word, but pain and death in contempt to it
