Deuteronomy 34: Moses Dies on Mount Nebo
Moses and the last climb. At 120 years of age and with perfect vigor, Moses was taken by God.
He had a brad and extraordinary vision of the entire Promised Land and succeeded in completing his career in faith, for his eyes remained fixed on the Most High throughout his life. The only time he took them off to look at the circumstances, he sinned (Num. 20.11-12).
We learn that, at all times, we must look at the bigger picture, which is Salvation. As glorious as life, a position or a mission may be, or however arduous the struggles of this life may be, one day it will all come to an end.
The servants of God can trust that their present and their future are under His absolute control. This understanding drives away questions, fear and sorrow, and makes us remain faithful until the end.
