Cleanliness. the presence of the Most High among the soldiers in the camp would give them victory. However, this required cleanliness and holiness from them. No one could remain there if they were impure (v. 10). Likewise, we must be bold in our spiritual lives, for we are waging war as servants of God.

However, we will not be able to overcome our daily battles or deliver people from the clutches of the devil if we are impure, that is , in sin.

If the soldiers of earthly armies must follow strict rules of obedience, discipline, order and respect, imagine those who are part of God’s Army!
