Acts 26: Paul’s Early Life
You are permitted to speak for yourself. The Lord Jesus had already prepared His apostles to be brought before the authorities someday to witness to His name (Matt. 10.18-19). They were given the promise that they would not have to worry about what to say because the Holy Spirit would instruct them.
Paul stood before King Agrippa and could not pass up the chance to explain the reason for his faith in the Lord Jesus.
There are many situations in the life of a Christian when he must have the courage and wisdom to defend his faith.
In school, college, work, or family life, our faith is often tested by those who mock and despise God. That is when our good testimony before all will speak more than our words.
