Unless you are circumcised. Some Christian Jews insisted that Gentile converts were to submit to the Law of Moses and be circumcised, in order to be saved. for those religious people, Gentiles were supposed to become Jews first, and then become Christians. Yet if circumcision was to really be enforced either of two situations would happen.

One, many Gentiles wold abandon the faith they had just learned about in rejection of this practice, and theother was that whoever accepted was automatically rejecting the Work of theLord Jesus who had become the fulfillment of the entire Law once and for all (Matt. 5.17-18).

Yet not requiring circumcision would free the Church from Jewish rites and rituals. It would enable the spreading of faith in traditions, and religions (Rom. 2.25-29).
