Ephesians 2: By Grace Through Faith
And you he made alive, who were dead.
Just as physical death takes away all senses from the body, which then decays, spiritual death robs us of our sensitivity to spiritual matters and leads us to eternal condemnation.
No one can live apart from the Most High, so the passage calls them “dead in trust passes and sins.”
Those who are far from present from the Lord live without understanding, without purpose, and with no spiritual strength, which is why they are cold toward God and their fellow man.
Yet the Lord Jesus came to revive us through the “new birth” (John 3.3), which is done by the Work of the Holy Spirit, who is the creator of this new life.
For that to happen, whoever wants to be born again only needs to turn to the Lord, repent of his sins, and seek him with all his strength.
