Hypocrisy. The Pharisees were well-known by God. They simulated virtues but hid sins within themselves. They preached respect to the Lord but neglected His Commandments. They were strict about other people’s faults but compliant with their own iniquities. They were good actors who deceive everone but the Savior.

The Lord Jesus love the truth and abhors falsehood. Hypocrisy is everywhere, especially in religious environments, where people like to be seen and praised. The remedy for this dangerous evil is sincerity and repentance, otherwise, they will be condemned sincerity and repentance: otherwise, they will be condemned.
