Matthew 7: Do Not Judge
Judge not., The Lord Jesus gave this warning when He saw the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisess, who considered themselves the owners of the truth and therefore, condemned the people. It is very easy to point out the mistakes and faults of others but difficult to admit one’s own failures.
It is one thing to admonish someone in order to help them, and another thing to accuse them.
There are people who are worried about the speck in the neighbor’s eye will there is a plank in their eye. They point out other people’s small mistakes but ignore their own huge flaws. There is no greater hypocrisy than demanding others do what you yourself do not do (Rom. 2.1)
