2 Kings 14: Amaziah Reighs in Judah
Unlike like David. Although David had some flaws, he is presented as an example. The Most High uses him as a reference to compare the reign of Amaziah. This king was praised for beginning to follow the Mosiac Law, but his obedience became partial.
Unlike like David. Although David had some flaws, he is presented as an example. The Most High uses him as a reference to compare the reign of Amaziah. This king was praised for beginning to follow the Mosiac Law, but his obedience became partial.
For convenience, he became oblivious to idolatry and tolerant of the sons of his father’s murderers. With that, faithfulness to God was no longer his priority.
Like him, many begin very well in the faith, but gradually they become weak and corrupt. Staying spiritually awake depends on the choices we make on a daily basis. this means that we are the fruit of every decision we make; however small it may be.
