11:1 He loved many foreign women. Solomon sinned when he disobeyed god’s Instruction to avoid mixed marriages. Not only id he marry foreign women who worshiped idols, he also worshiped their false god; and so, he distracted himself from the almighty.

The same thing happens to many Christians today who, due to anxiety in their love life, become involved with people who do not share the same faith as they do.

Though they know the Word of God and say they have faith, they seek love in the wrong places, Far from the presence of God, just Solomon did. As a consequence, they find sin and suffering and end up losing their most precious asset: their Salvation.
