Sexual Immorality. Paul rebuked the Corinthians for the immoral behavior that was commonly found within the church.

Sexual immorality includes adultery, prostitution, sexual depravity, incestuous intercourse, and other sexual impurities – which were condemmed by the Mosaic Law (Lev. 18.8; Deut. 22.30).

The apostle mentioned the case of a man who defiled his father’s bed by being intimate with his own stepmother.

The spiritual blindness of the Corinthians was so great that they tolerated what the unbelievers themselves repudiated.
