Treating Paul kindly. It is interesting to note how an officer of the Roman Empire could have been so kind to Paul to grant him faveors, and even save his life (v.43).
The officer had been appointed to watch over Paul, and it was probably this closeness that made him respect and admire that apostle.
Godly fear, a life of sacrifice, and the irreproachable conduct of someone who is faithful to God, all reflect the character of the Lord. These lead others to want to know Him as well.
