This man is a plague.

Then the apostle was accused of stirring up dessention among Jews throughout the world. Tertullus knew that the Romans did not tolerate rebellion or insurrection against the authority of Tome, so he maliciously lied, saying tat Paul was inciting riots.

His third charge was that Paul was the leader and chief supporter of the Nazarene cult. Even then, following the Teachings of the Lord Jesus meant being labeled as a cult follower.

Neither the Jews nor the Romans could stand this word, because they viewed any who were attached to any movement of faith as fanatics and spreaders of discord and confusion.

Finally, Paul was charged with desecration the Temple, which gave the Jews the right to punish him. all the charges levelled against him were very serious
