Isaiah 64: Oh, that You Would Rend the Heavens!
Isaiah had such a deep desire to see the manifestation of the Lord, in order to make thr injustices and oppression of the enemies end, that he cried out.
This shows that the righteous are outraged at the works of evil; and so, they pray and act so that the righteousness of God may be manifested.
The righteous know that the Almighty has a character and a way of acting that is sovereign and unique. No human power, no matter how steady and infallible it may be, can withstand Him. The Justice system of this world fails because it is often influenced by ulterior motives, but God’s justice is perfect and rescues the wronged ones who cry out for Him.
